Having fun reaching people for Jesus, building community and helping people become healthy in spirit, mind and body - that's the goal of Neptune's Recreation Ministry. We hope to reach people during every season of life, providing a wholesome, family oriented environment that offers a variety of sports activities such as little league baseball, softball, soccer, ultimate Frisbee, and flag football.

Martial Arts

More and more people just like you are discovering that Martial Arts are the perfect way to stay in shape, build character, and reduce stress.  Our classes are ideal for men, women and children.  This is an activity that you can share with your whole family.

UPWARD Basketball, Football and Cheerleading

Upward is a value based program for children grades K5 through 5th grade (basketball), K5 through 12th grade (football), and K5-6th grade (cheerleading).  In this program each child is a winner.  We strive to make sure that each child has a positive experience with their team. In this league, every child is given equal play time and is rewarded at the end of each game for something that they did well on the court or field.

Upward promotes character and self-esteem in every child by providing:

  • Equal playing time for every player
  • A one-hour practice and game each week of the season
  • An evaluation process to provide equal opportunity for improvement
  • Each player signs up as an individual, not as a group or team
  • Separate leagues for boys and girls
At the end of each 8 week season, we have a big awards night for children and their families to attend.  There is always a nationally known key note speaker and each child is rewarded for their effort that season.

Men's Softball

It's time to play ball!  Sign up for Men's Softball with John Haynes.  The spring season begins early April each year.  This year the games are on Thursday evenings.
