Where do I park?

Parking is always a challenge here in Neptune Beach. When attending worship services and church activities, you may park in the Bank of America parking lot to the north of the church, the Sun Trust Bank parking lot on the west side of 3rd Street, the professional buildings on the west side of 3rd Street, as well as the parking lots around the church.

To help you identify where you are parking we have named our parking lots so that you can get directions back to your car, or let the people you are riding with know where to meet up after the services are over.

The “Noah Parking Spaces” run along Cherry Street. The “Esther Parking Lot” is on the east side of 2nd Street. The “Elijah Parking Lot” is on the west side of 2nd Street. The “Solomon Parking Spaces” are on the south side of Walnut Street and the “Sarah Parking Lot” in on the west side of Walnut Street and faces 3rd Street. The “Samson Parking Spaces” are on the north side of Walnut Street. The city parking designated as two hour parking is not enforced on Sunday mornings and evenings and Wednesday evenings for additional parking.

What to expect...

All churches have preaching and teaching, right? But, here at Neptune we are obsessed with teaching the Bible. Why? Because Jesus instructs His followers to “teach them to obey all I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:20 NIV).  It is also written in the Bible that teaching and preaching are the catalyst for life transformation.

So we place a high value on relevant and accurate, strong but compassionate spirit-led biblical teaching. Our pastor is deeply committed to teaching and equipping people with the truths of the scriptures. We also expect small group leaders to be committed to a higher standard of teaching. All of the teaching ministries at our church are theologically-driven because we unashamedly pursue the truth found in the Bible. For a sample, come and visit a worship service, or check out one of the podcasts available online or through our app.

Whether you attend our Praise & Worship or our Hymn Service, you can generally expect to be here about one hour. Our Praise & Worship utilizes a band and singers and features a style similar to what you'd expect to hear on a modern radio station. Our Hymn Service is more traditional in nature and utilizes a piano with songs from the Baptist Hymnal. We have two large video screens which have the words to all songs we sing.

Life Groups

When you’re ready, the best way to get connected at Neptune is to try out a Life Group.  We believe that it’s hard to grow spiritually without growing relationally. Life Groups are small group Bible studies where people connect and grow. Groups are divided by age and stage of life. Life Groups exist to create an ongoing relational community where truth and life meet.

On Sunday mornings, your child will experience Biblical learning through the Gospel Project curriculum. The teachings will be age-appropriate and taught over the course of a three-year cycle. Your child will have a take home sheet each week, to discuss as a family, what was taught, during the session.
